Objective: To lead the CIM HE MIG with the steering committee
Key responsibilities:
- To Chair group business
- Act as the group’s principle spokesperson
- Together with other group officers provide group links to the institute and other professional bodies
- Support other group officers and committee members in their roles and responsibilities

Helen Fleming, Secretary
Objective: To plan, organise and deliver the CIM HE MIG Annual Conference
Key responsibilities:
- To source an appropriate venue in the designated city for each year's conference
- To prepare options for the group committee to consider regarding details of the annual conference
- To co-ordinate speakers, presentations and all logistical arrangements for the event
- To be responsible for liaising with the CIM and the committee treasurer on bookings for the conference, registration information and all delegate information
- To organise the pre-conference social.

Paul Starkey, Treasurer
Objective: To manage the groups finances.
Key responsibilities:
- Budget management
- Agree fees for CPD activity and upload details to CIM website
- Raise purchase orders for group spending

Martyn Spence, Vice Chair
Objective: To support the Chair and the development of the group as required
Key responsibilities:
- To deputise for the Chair as required
- To contribute to the development of the group through ideas, networks, and project work
- To support other group leads as needed

Catherine Downes, Print and Digital Media
Objective: To maintain the CIM HE MIG website ensuring up to date news and events and to utilise social networks in promoting the group.
Key responsibilities:
- To ensure the website conforms to the corporate guidelines as set down by the Chartered Institute of Marketing
- To ensure the website is up to date with accurate information pertaining to the group
- To promote the groups events via the website
- To utilise social networking to promote the aims and objectives of the group and to promote the events and activities of the group
- To develop, in conjunction with other members of the group, e-marketing materials and promotional strategies

John Callen, CPD and Membership Services
Objective: To coordinate and steer the development and delivery of a CPD programme (to incl. training/development and possibly a longer term qualifications framework) that delivers, through various channels/suppliers, the desired benefits for strategic marketing in line with the HEMIG’s broad aims, maintains the standards of the CIM and enables/supports transferability into and out of the HE sector for professional marketers.
Key responsibilities:
- To plan, oversee and monitor – working with HEMIG colleagues, the CIM, current and potential suppliers, partners and others:
- the broad CPD framework/s
- the broad qualifications framework that meshes with substantive CIM qualifications
- appropriate third party supplier provision, relationships and standards – including content, quality and service standards
- where appropriate, the development of CIM HEMIG initiated modules and the ‘sub-contracting’ thereof
- integration with the HEMIG’s annual and termly major conferences/events.

David Girling, Annual Conference organiser
Objective: To plan, organise and deliver the CIM HE MIG Annual Conference
Key responsibilities:

Victoria Robinson, Press and PR
Objective: To raise the profile and reputation of the CIM HE MIG across the HE sector.
Key responsibilities:
- To liaise with the sector media and to seek relevant PR opportunities
- Specifically to manage the PR related to the Annual Conference - including coordination of photography
- To manage the CIM HE MIG brand and corporate ID and therefore to liaise with the CIM over branding issues, this will involve planning and implementing branding at CIM HE MIG conferences and events

Julia Kettlewell, Conference Publicity
Objective: To support the marketing and publicity of the Annual CIM HE MIG Annual Conference
Key responsibilities:
- To assist with the devleopment of printed and e-marketing materials for the Annual Confeerence
- To assist with the production of the Annual Conference brochure

Kristine Murray, International
Objective: To raise international awareness of the CIM HE MIG
Key responsibilities:
To ensure international issues and opportunities are represented in the group
To source speakers, liaise with contacts and suggest topics/themes of an international nature for group events and initiatives
To promote the group and its activities to individuals involved in marketing international HE.
